Before the implementation of reform and opening policy, the foreigner thought Chinese people were not really understandable. But now what about china?As it seems that they had encouragement to strive for revolution rather than developing the national economy .the whole country were controlled by HongWeibing and The Gang of four in recent 10 years. The people had no human right .if they were speaking what considered of fighting against the country and the Communist party, they must be sent to prison or even sentenced to death. Lots of people `were persecuted by those scumbags. Therefore, the people did not dare to speak what they thought at all. It is no doubt that china was in chaos and had no connection with other foreign countries except some a few countries. China had missed the chance to construct itself. As a result, china still lags behind most foreign countries in various aspects now. If calculated by time, it would be a period of 20 years or even more.
The ten-year Cultural Revolution happened in china. Though it is no useful to talk about it again, we know that it is a deepest reason not by accident .at least, china had no a perfect democratic system .it could not ensure the people’s human right or others. Therefore, it is reasonable for foreigners to product this impression about china.
Since 1979, the implementation of reform and opening policy, our country has changed or been changing greatly. Esp. in clothing, shettle, food and transportation. People don not worry about the lack of food etc again. China’s democratic system has gradually tended to perfect. Development is the main guild principle. The deepened reform has injected a flow of fresh vitality into our national economic and social development. Well-to-do society and well to –do life is not a remotest dream. China’s appearance changed, the people changed, and the world also changed at the same time.
At the beginning of 1980s,if some foreigners come to china, they considered them as reputable guides. As it seemed that the foreigners were from other planets. They are exciting and curiosity for those brown hairs and blue eyes. As the time went by, this trend changed greatly. The phenomenon of the foreigners came to China is a common thing, they called them “foreign friends” “laowai”and so forth. Chinese people are familiar to these foreigners and their countries. They are not afraid of “the wolf is coming ”. On the contrary, they wish the foreigners came to china to consume our commodity .the foreigners really worry about “the Chinese comes now”. They are afraid of the inexpensive goods in case Chinese controls their market and economy.
Maybe Chinese globalization is a small part like a scenario of film. However, china has changed greatly, also, the world has been changed greatly. How to translate it?
