Life

Life is a form of matter in nature, which exists among human beings, animals, plants and microorganisms. It is life that makes the world living. Anything with life has right to survive on the earth, even a piece of grass.
But life is not equal. Some insects are born in the morning and die in the evening, let alone microorganisms, which have much shorter lives. However, a tortoise can live for several centuries. And we human are in the middle, for several decades. In fact, it is quite hard to tell that short life is good or long life. Nobody could say that insects are born in the morning and die in the evening whose lives are uncomfortable and incomplete.
Human beings who had high intelligence experienced their lives and recorded their lives which were called history. Human’s abilities are beyond any other things with lives on the earth. But animals and plants have vigorous organs and weapons to defend and attack. Such as, eagles with strong wings and claws; lions with sharp claws and teeth; cobras with virulent venom; roses with thorns. However, what weapons does human have? Human has the strongest weapon—our intelligence which ensured us to survive for several thousand years and ruled the earth at last. One person could only live for decades, but one died another was born. So history doesn’t pause.
Thinkers and philosophers home and abroad from ancient times to these days have been search, discussing and debating what life is. But they haven’t gained a definite definiens. However, there is no doubt that life is a form of matter in nature.
All lives start with birth and end by death. Birth and death are two points of life, which is between birth and death. The true meaning of life doesn’t focus on how long the distance is between birth and death, but emphasizes the completeness of life.
