Maternal love
-----After watching《Dear Frankie》
To make his boy--Frankie far away from domestic violence, far away from his brutal farther, the young mother left the sick husband resolutely, taking his only boy traveling around the whole world, escaping from his husband’s searching. But, she cannot tell the truth to his deaf and dumb child, she cannot make him to be the child without paternal love. Therefore, the maternal love originated from the fresh and blood promoted her make up a perfect lie: my boy, your farther was a great captain; he did the voyage all over the world, in the “Accra” ship. And each several weeks, Frankie would receive a letter from his farther, which described his experience toward the world; of course, all these were directed by Frankie’s young mother meticulously. But one day, when the true “Accra” really arrived at the small town, when Frankie really asked where his farther is, what would the young mother do?
“Blood is thicker than water.” It wakes up another story to hit my mind, happened when I was on my first summer vocation in my hometown. I accompanied my mother for shopping, in fact, I hate strolling, so, I tried to find something else to while, and then I found many people around the hospital. “What is up?” Curiosity made me approach the crowd. The emergence ward’ door was open, two nurses stood there, a woman kneeled down at the foot of the bed, and a boy lied on the bed, dead. I got the inside from other people: the boy ended his class, not returned home, but went swimming with his classmates, and then been drowned. His mother, after hearing the news, stumbled to the hospital crying, she cannot accept such a fact! In the morning, his lovely boy said goodbye to him happily, just several hours later, everything changed! That vivacious boy quieted down forever, left her a dead silence. Before I came, her tears had dried out, her energy had been exhausted in crying, the people standing around began sobbing. My mother went in to comfort her, but later my mother ran out with tears. She pulled me out of the hospital, repeating such words: “What a lovely boy! What a pity!” I knew what happened, but I cannot find such words to calm my mother down. We got back.
Several days later, my mother suddenly told me that that mother became insane when we family were having lunch together. I had nothing to say as the reply.
Then, I knew, your life is not only yours, many people are concerned into, those who care about you! Maybe you mean nothing to anybody, but you mean all to somebody! Cherish yourself for your own mother, ok?
The day after tomorrow is Mothers’ Day, I will say “Happy Mothers’ Day” to my dear mum, and I also wanted to say “Never let your mother down!” to all the kids!
I miss my mum, do you?
