The zeitgeist-----a kind of spirit of the time
Nowadays, we youngsters live a good life without any anxiety or troublesome matters. So leisure is everything that just occupies our brain. In fact that is terrible for a nation’s future. Our forefathers had done everything just hoped their offspring can be promising, but now see what the condition is, how can we teach our sons and daughters, what can we leave to them? The only thing to be left is the soul!
First is the patriotism. As a people, one must love his country, then learn for his country, work for his country, try to do contribution as much as possible, even die for it if necessary. To do this one must have the ability to do so, how can they achieve it, to learn first! To master what you need to get it! Patriotism is not a word but the practical actions. If someone always say to other he love his country how much,he is telling a lie or he does not know how to express his love. That is a kind of spirit, consciousness, inner motive to sublime oneself.
Second, to be able to distinguish the good from the bad. Live in this world , one should not be ego or selfish, one must know what is crime, kill, robbery or something like that and what is kindness , charity, considerateness and so on and how to help get rid of the devil and set up the morality!
Third, to be sympathetic to the poor, the disabled, the homeless and the hardworking people. To help everyone in need is the traditional ethic of our great nation. In the modern times , it also is a duty to make the country a whole nationwide rich and powerful.
Fourth, to be self confident, but not conceited, to do anything that is good for others, to stand on your own feet , to love, to be self esteem, tough, persevere, never stop before realizing your objectives.
Fifth, to be bold enough to adventure and risk, but not pretending to be good at anything, to fight with the evil, raping looter, smuggling and corruption .to be just and keep a steadfast attitude when punish the criminal.
Sixth, To make all the efforts to get knowledge, to be capable to know the current affairs, to master the high tech, such as computer, English for communication, the good manners, further more,to have the modern time’s morality of respecting the old and the learned. To be filial to your parents who brought you up so hard.
The last one , the adaptability to the new world where you are. This is very important. It matter much to your life in the all kinds of environment.
So, as a young guy, in order to be a upper one, we must own the aforementioned, that will benefit us much more.
China is a ancient civilized country, we have perfect past, we must inherit and develop it by all the new quality.
