Loss of the tradition

Spring  Festival is the most significant ceremony in China .it carries some traditional culture which accumulate our own national spirit deriving from the river of  long history .Millions people take it for granted for the common culture ,yet very few people conclude that China ,as a multi-culture country ,still has some other elements of  culture to cherish even if  in this situation that many our tradition ceremony meet the serious challenge of west civilization .
     Had it not been for the invasion of the west world ,china should enter the modern society by its own step slowly ,however, we are far low the speed of industry revolution so we doom to suffer so much .I t is believe that noting can prepare you for being power save extremely strive since we come to realize that truth of the exist .now we have reached a engrossing achievement such as the revive of the old civilization  .But when  we look back to the faith in a peaceful mood, the result let us down ironically .
Chrismas is celebrated in many Asian countries more and more people went to church, the Spring Festival  make way to it ,so  the problem is so much sophisticated than ever before ,especially in younger generation which prefer the west ceremony to native activity. We can not imagine this situation will go well. It is amazing so many people lose their feature just to persuit the so-called  mainstream .
I can  not  lose this  it from my memory is that when I was a  child the whole people of  our neighbours got together to held a  ceremony to convey the gratification to our ancestors .  After the dinner the fire light everywhere, people dance around the big torch that hint misterious power in nature .The younger people dress in their national costume  with fanatic excitement that any prejudice elements went out of it. The dance troops continued along the ancient rhythm overflowing folk flavor .The elder people was fond of drinking overnight. It will last a week, during this time the only task is to relax or to attend the competition of vote of beauty , wrestling, riding  and so on. As the exist symbol of Yi people. I can not recall its resources definitely, the rough memory only remains that Yi people triumph over the invasion of enemy using many torches fixing them on the thorn of the sheep which seem that many soldier flow down on the hill under the pretence of   the darkness. The enemy was flee yet this victory ran into our people’s mind permanently  , however , nowadays seldom children to mention it only interesting in fast food ,Easter ,….even if the Spring Festival can not attract them let along the Torch Festival
And now the heritage is doom to loss in a brush of the mainstream, but my father refuse to watch the World Cup regardless my attitude .in his thought everything has its source and the nature is the best way to survive. He strongly assert that it is foolish to adopt the superficial skins. He spend most of his time staying home to read history and write poem “poem is the life’s rhythm” some script like the following words.
          Do you remember
          The little road through to jilebute
           One heavy desk
           I said to her
           What is stack deep into my heart
           But you embroidery needle
         (  She was moved to tears)
I can not distinguish the rhythm of this poem , yet I  know we must to adapt ourselves in order to survive in the future fierce competition meanwhile it is necessary to persist on something coming the wisdom of our ancestors.
