The setting up of this forum is totally for all English learners who have come here to pratice their writing as well as making new net friends.
As long as you try to write everything in English, I believe, you will surely learn and improve. Writing in English is not as hard as you imagine. It is just like doing any other meaningful things that you need a determined beginning, a patient process and a very enlightened ending. If you think what you are going to do is right and helpful, whether for others or just for yourself, no matter how difficult and unpredictable it is, all you need to do now is just to start to do it! No doubt about it.
So, Alex, I am very glad to know right now you have made up your mind and set out on your road of writing. Only in English.
